*Please Note: There will be no performance on Friday 9/17, Yom Kippur. We will have a performance on Thursday 9/16 in its place.
In our 87 year history, we have done the plays of Shaw, Ibsen, O'Neil, Wilde and Miller, but we have never before performed a work by the pre-eminent playwright of all. Now we are presenting his enchanting, delirious comedy of love and fantasy. Fast paced, delightful and yes magical it tells how, in one of the many famous lines from the play, "The course of true love never did run smooth." We have a quartet of young lovers who each dotes upon the wrong person.; the king and queen of faeriedom quarrelling and rustic workmen presenting an hilarious play within a play. All this occurs in one dream filled night that glides on ribbons of gossamer. Ah! "What fools these mortals be".
Our 467th Production FREE ON-SITE PARKING Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 P.M. Sunday at 2:00 P.M. Tickets are $12.00 Call 215-843-1109 for reservations.

What's your dream wedding? On horseback, on Harleys, maybe a disco or Star Trek one. If you want Elvis there, do you want him fat or thin; the Hawaiian Elvis or the comeback Elvis? You can have any of these at the Las Vegas wedding chapel run by the genial, but jaded Sandy who has seen it all in the last 17 years. She believes in marriage, she's done it 4 times and with the same guy. Into her chapel come three couples who are bizarrely different. One consists of ditched spouses who plan to beat their exes to the altar. Another is the publicity seeking stars of the 30 years ago TV adventure show The Surfin Secret Agents. They are deeply in love, with themselves. And the third is an arrow straight mail man and a just released, tough as nails ex-con who met on the internet. You'll have to come see the surprising 4th wedding. This play is screechingly funny. It is a world premiere from our own Nancy Frick who wrote 4 plays which debuted here and which have gone on to play in many other theatres.
Our 468th Production FREE ON-SITE PARKING Friday and Saturday performances are at 8:00 P.M. Sunday at 2:00 P.M. Tickets are $12.00 Call 215-843-1109 for reservations.

There is no finer restaurant in all of Paris than the Cafe du Grand Boeuf. There is no more exclusive restaurant either. For you see its staff caters to only one customer, Victor, its wealthy owner. The exquisite meals are lovingly prepared for him and potentially for his great amour.
When Victor returns from Spain with his hopes crushed, he refuses to eat and intends to starve himself. Sacre Bleu! Then there will be no more employment and besides the staff is genuinely fond of their sole patron. Can they tempt him with the most ravishing menus? Can they entice his former lady love to intervene? This is all presented with great gallic wit and charm by the non-French Michael Hollinger who took us all to France a short time ago for his delightful Incorruptible.

It is 1964 and the world including the Catholic Church is on the cusp of difficult and dramatic changes. In a parish in the Bronx the nun who is the principal of the parochial school is on a collision course with the young assistant pastor. His more relaxed manner is at variance with her more traditional views, There then arise grave suspicions concerning the priest which the sister will not let rest. She relentlessly pursues what she sees as truth, but is it? The audience must decide and there is little chance that all will come to the same conclusion. A sharp drama that combines elements of a mystery, it is a play that deliberately takes no side and is all the more intriguing for that. The play won the Tony and all 4 players were nominated for Oscars.

This is the warm-hearted tale of Mrs. Ethel Savage a very wealthy, rather eccentric woman who wishes to use her husband's estate to help further the otherwise unrealizable dreams of ordinary people. Her greedy stepchildren are aghast at this and manipulate to have her committed to a mental sanitorium. Here she meets a collection of fellow patients who live largely in their own fantasies. A little private world is created in which each acts out their joys and fears. This is all done with delightful humor as they join together to thwart the stepchildren and to move toward resolutions of their own problems. This play will put a broad smile on your face and leave you feeling a bit better about the world.

We are back in Paris again in the swinging 60's. Bernard has arranged his involved love life with mathematical perfection. He has 3 adoring, beautiful, live-in fiancees. However each thinks she is the only one because he has selected only air line stewardesses whose scheduled flights into Paris never coincide. He happily explains this to Robert, his temporary house guest from the provinces. He accomplishes the feat of keeping his American, French and German girlfriends unaware with the help of his caustic, overworked but well paid maid, Berthe. Bernard's Eden has a serpent, technology. Faster planes can wreak havoc with the best laid plans. This play is hysterically funny. It was revived with great success in London and New York where it won the Tony as the best play revival of 2008.
